Burchfield Park is a major recreational area for Ingham County.  It is 540 acres of hiking and biking trails.  It has numerous picnic areas and a swimming beach.  There is a kayak/canoe livery.  Access can be gained from McNamara Landing, River Bend natural area or paid vehicle admission off Grovenburg Road.
